With also keeping an up-to-date social media and blog page, featuring “Top tips for staff mental health”, “How to be savvy with staff training budget”, and lots more.

This blog was brought to life from a personal experience for Five on a Bike’s York, unfortunately, York’s grandpa was admitted into hospital. That’s when York and his family had to look at other options in the care sector regarding and his Grandpa’s future and well-being. Sad to say that care homes and care facilities were not advertised properly online, which made things difficult, as they couldn’t find comfort in this, already upsetting situation.

If you work in the care sector it’s important to know that your actions matter, regardless of your budget, it’s crucial to market and advertise properly to showcase what you can provide. So even with a social media account and an up-to-date website, you are allowing people to see what your services within your care home have to offer, because not only is word-of-mouth unreliable, but it’s also unsustainable in the digital age.
