At Five on a Bike, we have years of experience creating incredibly high-quality video tours with a number of companies – particularly care homes and retirement villages. With this experience, our highly-professional team has mastered the art of completing the project to the best standard possible, without interrupting residents and workers.
It is an understandable concern that having a film crew turning up to your site may disrupt the peace. However, at Five on a Bike, we know that when we enter a location, we are often entering a peaceful place of routine.
When we are filming in sensitive locations such as care homes or residential villages, we are aware that we are entering a person’s home and take the right measures to do so respectfully and sensitively, so as not to interrupt the daily routine.
That’s why we take steps to communicate with the staff and managers exactly what we’re doing and are conscious to work as quickly and efficiently as possible, capturing footage intelligently and making sure we’re in and out in a matter of hours.
We think about everything… From ensuring we have minimal bulky equipment which is battery powered so we don’t leave cords laying around, to bringing a calm and friendly face to whoever may be around us as we’re working there.
Once we’ve worked with you to settle seamlessly into your routine, we can begin to capture some incredible footage to showcase your location on your website, social platforms, or even in event presentations.
Intelligent filming comes hand-in-hand with our respectful approach. We know that there are certain places where we are more likely to be disruptive than others. So, we ensure that we minimise this disruption in every way possible, whilst still achieving some beautiful footage.
For example, by efficiently capturing a small number of shots of dining areas and kitchens at once, we are able to spread this footage across a number of videos, without having to spend hours disrupting people’s mealtimes or chefs’ busy work schedules. Similarly, if your sites have similar-looking bedrooms, we can take some engaging shots of one or two of these, without wasting time or having to intrude on multiple people’s spaces.
We love filming video tours and really believe we’ve mastered the perfect combination of skillful videography and a respectful attitude to produce beautiful, efficiently filmed footage.
