LinkedIn is a powerful platform which, when used in the right way, can make your brand connect with its audience in much broader and more exciting ways. ‘Top-tips’ videos are a great example of how simple, informative videos can encourage a consumer to invest more attention and trust in a company.
Here, we have an example of where Five on a Bike created a handful of ‘top-tips’ videos for a local company, which resulted in some big views and, therefore, a big impact on their brand.
In 2018, Chandler Garvey, a group of leading commercial property consultants in the Thames Valley, were looking for a series of videos from Five on a Bike to promote brand awareness through their LinkedIn page. With this brief, Five on a Bike created a series of six, 30-60 second videos for Chandler Garvey. Some pieces were shot with people speaking directly to the camera, and some shot as interviews. It was important that we captured the speaker addressing their audience, as this left the viewer more likely to take in and trust the information that was being given.

The filming for Chandler Garvey took place over the course of one day. The 6 videos were released on LinkedIn, with the intention to drive brand awareness and express to the public why Chandler Garvey are the top influencers in their market.
Using Five on a Bike’s advice on how to build a LinkedIn campaign, Chandler Garvey’s videos got over 3000 views. First, the company posted it on their own page, tagging relevant groups of people. Then, they encouraged other people to get involved and share and interact with the campaign.

So, video marketing doesn’t always have to be about sales. Our project with Chandler Garvey is a great example of how ‘top-tips’ videos can be used on LinkedIn to promote vast and instant brand awareness, which can be shared again and again and used to spark an audience’s interest in your brand. In this project, nobody was going to be clicking links and buying a product. However, we could still demonstrate basic sales marketing strategies like this, through LinkedIn, to raise brand awareness.
