When your business has an incredible product and needs to get exposure to a potential customer, hearing the manufacturer talk about the benefits isn’t always the most encapsulating way to win their appeal. Case study video production is a fantastic way for people who use the system every day to say how it has changed their life in an honest and genuine way.
‘Via’ (who offer unified communications for businesses) found Five on a Bike through a Google AdWords search and from there they worked together to create case studies that gave examples from everyday users. The companies filmed were Teach First, Doherty Associates and Wallbrook Capital.
On each day, multiple members of staff were arranged to be interviewed, ranging from sales members to assistants and all the way up to the C-suite executives. The producer, York, created a calm atmosphere amongst all the lights and cameras so each person could effectively articulate why it was the Via headsets and Skype for business integration which enhanced the way they worked.
To give maximum value, multiple pieces of content were created. A total of 9 pieces of content came from the case study video production, 3 for each customer.
The first case study was a longer edit, perfect to give deeper detail on what Via can offer. The next was a shorter 3 minute edit, perfect for placing on a web page with an engaged viewer who is already invested but needs that extra push over the edge to make a sale. Finally, there was a 1 minute version, perfect to grab the attention of a potential customer and get them interested – these sit well on social media platforms where attention-span is at a premium.
In the post-production process, our editor, Chris, added extra layers of quality by placing graphics and text into the shots. Having text appear around buildings and other objects is a great way to really grab attention, highlight the key points and get the company branding featured.
Via came away with 9 case study videos that could be used again and again to grab attention and bring in new customers.
